(1factory: Milpitas, CA) -- Most manufacturers run quality in two disconnected worlds. Compliance lives in one: procedures, training records, corrective actions, and audit documentation scattered across binders, shared drives, and stand-alone document systems. Shop-floor quality lives in the other: inspection plans, measurement data, and nonconformances. When an auditor asks how the two connect, the answer is usually days of manual preparation.

The 1factory electronic quality management system (eQMS) software closes that divide. The new eQMS brings document control, training management, corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), supplier corrective action requests (SCARs), customer complaints, and audit readiness into a single cloud-based platform, natively connected to the company’s inspection and supplier quality tools already used on shop floors worldwide. Manufacturers can simplify compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949, and stay continuously audit-ready rather than scrambling before every audit.

Manufacturers can schedule a demo here.

Michael Corrales, VP of manufacturing solutions at 1factory, says “Quality leaders tell us the same problems over and over: They don’t want another disconnected system, and they don’t want to spend a year implementing one. The 1factory eQMS goes live in days, not months, at a fraction of the cost of traditional systems, and it connects compliance directly to what’s happening on the shop floor. That combination simply hasn’t existed in this market before.”

Manufacturers adopting the 1factory QMS report measurable results. VIDAR, an ITT company, reduced audit preparation time by 83%, from three days to four hours, after replacing its fragmented, paper-based quality system with 1factory.

Fairview Machine Co., a precision aerospace and medical component manufacturer and longtime 1factory customer, extended the platform from inspection into quality management.

“I would 100% recommend the transition to 1factory’s quality management software,” says Harrison Moulton, quality manager at Fairview. “It has helped Fairview go completely paperless over the past three years while helping us maintain exceptional traceability across the board.”

Since its initial release, the eQMS has expanded steadily, most recently adding “Courses,” a capability for managing safety, certification, and other externally sourced training with the same version control and completion tracking as internal procedures.

1factory will demonstrate its eQMS and full quality platform at two major industry events: IMTS 2026, Sept. 14–19 at McCormick Place in Chicago; and FABTECH 2026, Oct. 21–23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Attendees can book a meeting at IMTS here. To visit 1factory at FABTECH, book a meeting here.
