Humantech Announces Ergonomics Seminar Schedule for 2016

Three courses with credits offer beginner to advanced expertise

Published: Wednesday, March 9, 2016 - 17:13

(Humantech: Ann Arbor, MI) -- Humantech has announced the 2016 schedule of its popular series of ergonomics seminars with three different course offerings located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Applied Industrial Ergonomics, a two-day seminar, focuses on practical approaches to improving problem jobs, increasing productivity, and reducing injuries in an industrial environment. Attendees will learn to evaluate workstations and equipment, identify factors contributing to work-related musculoskeletal disorders, and prioritize ergonomic improvements.

The Advanced Ergonomic Design Workshop, a one-day seminar, takes you beyond identifying and assessing ergonomic risk. Through hands-on experiences and group activities, some of which may be located off-site, participants will learn how to design out the risk by evaluating existing equipment and proposing methodologies for good ergonomic design. This workshop is for people who have previously participated in the Applied Industrial Ergonomics training course.

The focus of Managing an Ergonomics Process, also a one-day seminar, is to develop participants’ ability to recognize, plan, and integrate the strategic elements of ergonomics into their current business processes. This workshop is not an introductory course and is intended for those who have previously attended the Applied Industrial Ergonomics seminar.

Complete course agendas, dates, and online registration are available here or by calling (734) 663–3330, ext. 132. Humantech’s courses have been approved for ABIH CM points and meet the requirements for BCSP COC credits.
