TASI Measurement Acquires Accutrol

Expands HVAC division with airflow measurement and control products

(TASI: Largo, FL) -- TASI Measurement, an international supplier of industrial measurement and monitoring solutions, has announced the acquisition of Accutrol LLC (www.accutrolllc.com), a leading supplier of airflow control and measurement solutions for critical environments such as laboratories, hospitals, pharmacies, and research spaces. Accutrol’s products include the AccuValve low-pressure drop airflow control valve and AVC fume-hood control system, both of which have received AHR Innovation Awards.

Headquartered in Danbury, Connecticut, Accutrol will continue to operate independently at its current location while joining TASI Measurement’s HVAC division, which also includes ONICON Inc. (www.onicon.com), based in Largo, Florida. Senior leaders of Accutrol, including Tim Berry, vice president of sales, and Brian O’Rourke, vice president of engineering, will continue in their roles and report to Bill Valentine, who leads the HVAC division for TASI.
