(Nikon: Shinagawa, Tokyo) -- Nikon Corp. announces the launch of the APDIS MV5X, the latest addition to its APDIS laser radar product lineup. Building upon the proven technology of the MV4x0 series, the MV5X represents a significant advancement in noncontact measurement technology, achieving high-precision, high-speed measurement in a compact and lightweight form, enhancing the quality of the manufacturing process.

Key features

Highly accurate and fast measurements: Up to six times faster scanning than previous models with fast and efficient feature measurement. More data collection enables better decision-making and improved process control, even during production ramp-up.

Compact and lightweight design: Weighing less than 12 kg, the compact system can measure where and when you need it. The MV5X can easily be taken to the part and set up as a portable measurement system, or mounted on a robot or AGV for fully automated measurements.
