Published: Tuesday, August 22, 2006 - 22:00

Dennis Goldberg was recently appointed CEO of Transport Pharmaceuticals Inc., a provider of drugs and medical devices for the topical treatment of dermatological conditions.

Goldberg has 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, and he was most recently president and chief operating officer of Transport. He also founded and served as president and CEO of neXus Therapeutics Inc., the assets and employees of which Transport acquired when it appointed Goldberg CEO.

“Under Dennis’ astute leadership, Transport has evolved into a leading drug/device convergence company with a dedicated management team that possesses core competencies in electrical engineering, chemistry and drug formulation, materials science, and drug development,” says Charles Hadley, Transport’s chairman of the board. “Dennis is the right person to lead Transport into the next phase of its clinical development, and I am delighted to appoint him to this leadership position.”
