Obviously, the target is reached brilliantly; Peugeot has just received excellent scores in the annual statistical report published by Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobile Club (ADAC), the leading automotive association in Germany and Europe.
ADAC publishes its annual report on cars’ reliability. The 2010 study was based on an analysis of the 4.25 million technical assistance requests made last year by the members of ADAC. Car models involved in ADAC’s report have to represent a significant volume in Germany in 2010.
Among Peugeot models currently marketed in Germany, those covered by the ADAC due to the volume of their car base in Germany in 2010 took top spots. Each of Peugeot 107, 207, and 308 score among the top three in their class of vehicle. 3008 and 5008, which were launched recently, did not yet represent enough volume in 2010 to be included in the survey.
Among all the imported brands, Peugeot is the only one to get three podiums in the ADAC 2010 statistical reliability report.
ADAC’s statistical breakdown takes into account all technical incidents having caused the vehicle immobilization. Thanks to the 17 million members of the automobile club, this study relies on an analysis base unique in Europe.
