(InnovMetric Software: Quebec City, QC, Canada) -- InnovMetric Software is proud to announce that in its past fiscal year (April 2009 to March 2010), its worldwide sales of PolyWorks/Inspector Probing licenses have increased by 71 percent. During the same period of time, several automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in North America and Europe have purchased significant numbers of PolyWorks/Inspector Probing licenses with the purpose of deploying one universal 3-D metrology software platform within specific departments. PolyWorks/Inspector Probing offers plug-ins for all major probing brands and technologies at no extra charge, and a total compatibility with the PolyWorks point-cloud metrology solution. Additional business benefits of the PolyWorks probing solution include increased efficiency, reduced training costs, corporatewide measurement-result sharing, and a common interface to all portable measurement hardware.
