Volodymyr Bilotkach is a senior lecturer in economics at Newcastle University. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Arizona. He has taught at the University of California, Irvine, and held short-term appointments in South Korea, Germany, and France. His research covers various issues in economics of the aviation sector. Bilotkach has published more than 30 papers in scholarly journals. He co-edits Journal of Air Transport Management, and has advised The Netherlands Competition Authority and the European Commission.
