Michael Hughes

Michael P. Hughes is a professor of finance at Francis Marion University. His focus is on corporate finance, financial markets, real estate finance, and investments. His research is focused in the areas of market microstructure, financial markets, fixed income securities, government and defense finance, options and derivatives, investments, international finance, central banking, and financial econometrics. Prior to joining academia, Hughes served for more than 21-years in the U.S. Air Force.
