Jason Jonassen

Applications engineer

Jason Jonassen’s introduction to the quality industry began in 1996 when he worked at Chrysler Corp.’s Pilot Operations facility as a tool maker and layout inspector. After leaving Chrysler in 2007, Jonassen joined Nikon Metrology as an applications engineer. He has come to know a number of different coordinate measuring machine (CMM) technologies ranging from tactile measurement to laser scanning in that time. In 2010, Jonassen joined the applications team at Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology where his current focus is on strategic projects.
