Frank Townsend, is a professor emeritus of EG-civil and coastal engineering at the University of Florida and a third-generation Zonian. Townsend has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University and a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in geotechnical engineering from Oklahoma State University.
