1999 ~ 2006: Reporting to the CMD as Chief of Operations at LMW (Textile Machinery, Foundry & CNC Machine tool divisions) accomplished Modernization & business turn-around increasing revenue from Rs 350 ~ 2000 cr.

 1972~1998 - 27 years of Auto Industry experience: set-up Eicher- Mitsubishi ‘canter’ trucks assembly at Pithampur, near Indore; Eicher Tractors Quality, R&D and Operations; Royal Enfield Motorcycles business turn-around; R&D & TQM at ‘Yenkay’ auto components. Raised quality & productivity, 400%.

Fortunate to learn and practice Japanese Production & Quality Systems since 1985.

Earned an M.Tech. (Metal Joining, Forming & Casting) from IIT Madras in 1972 and before that B.E. (Metallurgy) from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore & B.Sc. (Mysore University)
