Economist and finance professor

Thomas More Smith is an economist and finance professor at the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta. Smith specializes in the economics and finance of sports, entertainment, education, franchise businesses, wages and productivity, labor and macroeconomic trends. He teaches across all programs at Goizueta, including BBA, MBA, EvMBA, executive MBA, executive education, and he offers a finance course for nonbusiness students. Smith has a Ph.D., a master’s degree, and a bachelor’s degree in economics.
