John Ayers

Engineer and subcontract management professional

John Ayers has extensive subcontract management experience domestically and abroad, working with Department of Defense companies for 30 years. He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in engineering management. Ayers has been a director of operations that included managing and directing large high-tech development programs, and engineering projects and programs. As a design engineer his experience includes radar, mobile tactical communication systems, cryogenics, electronic packaging, material handling, antennas, X-ray technology, underwater vehicles, welding, structural and thermal analysis. Ayers is a certified specialist in Six Sigma, level-two earned value management, and cost control management.
