Donald Cohen

President

Donald Cohen is president of Michigan Metrology LLC, provider of 3D surface finish and wear measurement/analysis services for automotive, biomedical, and materials. Cohen has a bachelor’s  degree and two master’s degrees in physics and a Ph.D. in optical sciences. Early in his career Cohen worked with IBM and later served as vice president of engineering at WYKO Corp. (now part of Bruker Inc.), developing surface metrology instrumentation. He served as vice chairman/chairman of the ANSI/ASME B46.1 Surface Texture Standards committee from 2000–2011, and is currently vice chairman of STLE’s Detroit section.
