Connecticut Spring & Stamping (CSS)

Robert Allen is the director of engineering, for tooling and metal form at Connecticut Spring & Stamping (CSS). Allen started at CSS as a design engineer in 1978. Upon his return to the company five years ago, he went to work focusing on a new tooling cell and working with teams to improve costing and on-time delivery. He was also project manager prior to the director’s position. Allen continues to work with teams and leads and facilitates improvement projects on safety, quality, employee efficiencies, and on-time deliveries.
