Samm Bowman

Business specialist

Samm Bowman is a business specialist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP). Bowman has been with MEP for 13 years and worked on several projects that assist U.S. small manufacturers. Currently Bowman is responsible for tracking, maintaining, and coordinating Make It In America Supplier Scouting projects and events. She also has managed projects to develop services to assist small and medium-sized U.S. manufacturers with business continuity planning, as well as reshoring and supply chain optimization.
