David Mihal

Director

David Mihal is global commercial director of the Geomagic software product line within the Manufacturing Intelligence division of Hexagon. He is responsible for leading the worldwide commercial integration of the recently acquired software suite for scan-based reverse engineering, design, and inspection. From 2014 to 2024, Mihal managed large key accounts and sales teams within the Metrology Software division. He joined Hexagon in 2011, managing metrology systems sales in the Northwest U.S. Mihal holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from the University of Washington with concentrations in marketing and information systems, and has received numerous top performance awards over the 14 years with Hexagon. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities and exploring the world with his family.
