James Barai

James Barai is an analytical scientist in the quality control department at health and wellness company, Herbalife‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬. He is a subject matter expert in analytical methods development and validation, and implementation of new technologies in quality control laboratories. He leads the company’s green chemistry initiatives from the Herbalife Innovation Manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Barai earned his master’s degree in science in analytical chemistry from Marquette University in Milwaukee, and a bachelor’s of science from University of Dhaka in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Barai is highly passionate about the well-being of the environment and making chemistry practices more environmentally friendly.
