There continues to be a gap between what we know, what we do, and what we sustain in healthcare. This gap harms our patients’ safety and quality of life, and it harms our organizational outcomes. To address this gap, professionals in healthcare quality can facilitate their work by integrating tools and strategies from implementation science. This presentation will define implementation science and link it to quality improvement using the example of a statewide hospital fall risk reduction collaborative. Attendance is free.
