Body

(IQPC: New York) -- Pfizer, Genentech, AstraZeneca, and Elan are just a few of the companies who will be coming together to share operational excellence best practices and work together to find the optimum way to run their operational excellence programs.

From project valuation for operational excellence initiatives at Mylan to strategy deployment at Baxter, operational excellence directors from across the globe will be presenting their areas of expertise, learning from one another, and sharing tips at the “4th Annual Operational Excellence in Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices,” sponsored this year by ABB, Siemens, and Minitab, and held Dec. 8–9 at CCT Venues, Smithfield, London.

Discussion will center around implementing best practices to gain senior level buy in, mitigating business risk by assessing change execution in terms of business risk, adopting new initiatives to further operational excellence capabilities, and understanding how cross department initiatives can be shared. Delegates will also look at how tools, such as PAT, can be utilized to deliver on process strategies, provide insights, and identify strategies for reducing product cycle time, while maintaining quality and customer delivery.
