(ASD: Birmingham, MI) -- ASD’s GageMux USB simplifies and streamlines data collection.  Specifically developed to keep on the cutting edge of technology, the new GageMux USB multiple input gauge interface now has three user selectable outputs of backward compatibility and environmentally friendly power saving options. They include RS-232, USB, and keyboard output options.

One interface box does it all. The RS-232 output is compatible with older PC systems, while the USB works for newer ones. The ASD GageMux USB is the first gauge interface multiplexer on the market to have USB keyboard output, which significantly simplifies data collection into any Windows program or web browser and without the need for a software wedge. This innovation eliminates compatibility issues, allows for plug-and-play operation, daisy chain’s hundreds of gauges, and greatly accelerates high-speed data collection.

Available in rotary, toggle, and pushbutton models, the GageMux USB provides configure options using rotary switches or commands stored in memory.  It has a red LED for each port displaying errors, an RS-232 pass-through port and connects hundreds of gages to one RS-232, USB serial, or USB keyboard port.
