ANSI Board Names New Directors

A new year means new members for the American National Standards Institute’s board of directors.

ANSI’s board recently announced several new members, along with the reappointment of Robert W. Noth, manager of engineering standards for Deere & Co., for a second one-year term as board chairman. New vice chairpeople on the board include Arthur Cote of the National Fire Protection Association; Mary C. McKiel, standards executive for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; Stephen P. Oksala, Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers vice president of standards; and James T. Pauley, vice president of industry and government relations for Schneider Electric/Square D. Co.

There are also four new member forum chairs on ANSI’s board of directors: Michael Taubitz, General Motors Corp. global health and safety regulatory liason; Sharon K. Stanford, American Dental Association director of standards administration; Mary Mitchell, General Services Administration deputy associate administrator; and Linda Golodner, National Consumers League president.
