CogniTens Ltd. recently won the Technology Innovation of the Year award from market and technology research organization Frost & Sullivan.

The award recognized CogniTens’ contributions to the dimensional metrology market, specifically for its CoreView and OptiPlan software products, as well as the Optigo and Opticell dimensional measurement platforms. The software is used by clients in various automotive applications, engineering firms and service organizations.

“CogniTens’ innovative approach to dimensional measurement led to the development of its shop floor measurement solutions, which can automatically generate meaningful dimensional information and propagate it to engineers and managers across the organization,” says Prathima Bommakanti, Frost & Sullivan senior research analyst. “CogniTens’ CoreView-based technology, dimensional measurement platforms and added-value software actually extend the shop floor and allow dimensional information to reach a larger community of stakeholders to help make daily decisions, cut costs and accelerate the introduction of new products to the market.”
