Decisioneering Inc. and Vose Consulting US LLC have recently formed an alliance to launch Decisioneering Services, a new service for Six Sigma practitioners. The service offers on-site and off-site consulting, providing clients with the resources and expertise they need to solve complex problems. Services include:
  • Modeling expertise
  • Crystal Ball model building, report creation and presentation of results to management
  • Risk management and help identifying and prioritizing risks
  • Regional or on-site Crystal Ball training

“Understanding uncertainty and risk is very important in business,” says Jim Franklin, Decisioneering CEO. “Decisioneering Services’ team will provide tailored support so that companies can benefit from risk analysis immediately.”

“Our aim is always to provide a supportive role so that the client keeps control of the project, understands and learns from what we do, and ultimately has confidence in—and therefore makes good use of—the results we produce,” says David Vose, president of Vose Consulting. “Partnering with Decisioneering will give our clients the software, tools, training and consulting services they need to gain the upper hand on risk.”

Decisioneering also recently released Crystal Ball 7.2, the enhanced version of its popular risk analysis and optimization software. The software includes several new features and enhancements for variation control and uncertainty, including:

  • Process capabilities that support Six Sigma, design for Six Sigma and lean principles
  • Ease-of-use enhancements, including new links to tutorials and models, split-view charting and dual-locking grabbers
  • Performance improvements, such as increased speed for models with large numbers of assumptions and forecasts

Decisioneering, Inc. has been providing decision analysis software and solutions to help individuals and organizations to make better decisions since 1986. Vose Consulting is an independent firm that has helped industry and government make decisions in the face of risk and uncertainty through quality risk analysis methods.
