Rockwell Automation will host its annual Manufacturing Perspectives and Automation Fair next week in St. Louis. The Manufacturing Perspectives portion of the event will be held Nov. 15 at the Renaissance Grand Hotel. It will feature a full day of discussions about factory automation led by experts such as John Engler, president of the National Association of Manufacturers. The Automation Fair annually draws more than 8,000 engineers and operations leaders from around the world. It will be held Nov. 16–17 at the America’s Center, and will feature more than 150 exhibits, tutorial and technical sessions, demonstrations, hands-on labs, and vertical industry forums for manufacturers interested in using automation to increase their competitive advantage.
There will also be several breakout sessions held throughout the event, including :Essential Components/Exceptional Value,” “Strategic Maintenance: Unlocking the Hidden Potential of Automation Investments;” “Information Integration: Leveraging Manufacturing Information Assets;” “Intelligent Motor Control—Leading Technology for Simple Use;” and “Simplified Networking Architecture Through the CIP Standard.”
