The award is sponsored by Hewlett-Packard and managed exclusively by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.Evaluated by a panel of privacy experts, the privacy module of Watchfire’s WebXM software was selected for providing quantifiable value and innovative privacy technology, resulting in more effective business processes and improved online customer trust. The award was presented at the IAPP Privacy Academy in Las Vegas. “Watchfire’s innovation and thought leadership have helped shape this growing and important market,” says J. Watchfire’s Web XM privacy module scans enterprise Web properties, regardless of size or complexity, for issues such as missing privacy statements, insecure data collection forms, P3P, cookie presence and third-party links.
