The third-annual Design for Six Sigma Conference will be held Jan. 16–18 at the Memphis Marriott Downtown. The event is billed as the premier forum for companies to achieve DFSS success. Topics to be discussed include:
  • Integrating DFSS with engineering practices after initial deployment
  • Growth-focused DFSS—correctly identifying and satisfying product quality and growth opportunities
  • Revolutionizing the front-end of DFSS programs to exceed customer requirements
  • Achieving operational excellence through the application of DFSS in transactional processes
  • DFSS tools for failure mode avoidance

Key speakers include Martha Gardner, GE Global Research global quality leader; Nathan Soderborg, Ford Motor Co. DFSS Master Black Belt; Dwayne DeHaven, Textron Inc. vice president for Six Sigma and technology; Joseph Muscedere, Arvinmeritor Inc. vice president for quality; and Aly Badawy, TRW Automotive Inc. vice president for engineering.
