Jeff Carr recently joined Intertek Systems Certification as its vice president of systems certification. In his new role, Carr will direct the operations of the systems certification group, which is based in Boxborough, Massachusetts and Lachine, Quebec. He replaces André Forcier, who is retiring after 20 years with Intertek. “It will be very reassuring, for both our clients and our employees to see a person like Jeff Carr take this position,” Forcier says. “I know he’s the right choice, based on his experience and his knowledge of the aerospace industry.”

Carr was formerly the director of National Quality Assurance’s aerospace business unit, and has extensive experience in all aspects of systems certification, auditing and consulting.

“This is a really exciting time for our industry,” Carr says. “There will be significant changes over the next few years. We’ll be presented with exciting challenges, and I’m looking forward to working with the Intertek team, our customers and our regulatory bodies to meet those challenges and set the standard for the future of our industry.”
