Body
Pelion Systems Inc. and the Lean Learning Center recently formed a partnership to provide lean curriculum and consulting to manufacturing clients that are implementing lean processes. The companies will combine their areas of expertise to provide the services. Pelion Systems will offer the solution as a complement to its Pelion MPO software, a family of manufacturing process optimization solutions with advanced lean and flow algorithms supplemented with “drag and drop” modeling capabilities.

“As manufacturers move further into lean transformation, it becomes vital that they have the tools—technical and cultural—to develop, and most important, sustain lean initiatives,” says Jamie Flinchbaugh, Lean Learning Center founder and partner. “Having seen the effectiveness of results Pelion MPO has delivered to several manufacturing customers, we are excited to partner with them. Pelion’s approach starts with lean and uses software and technology to standardize and automate activities, which is a much more effective approach than starting with software and trying to inject lean practices as others have done.”
