National Quality Assurance USA has recently been accredited to perform registrations to AS9120, the new aerospace standard. NQA received the accreditation in December 2004 from the ANSI-RAB NAP, now known as ANAB. AS9120 specifically applies to aerospace subcontractors that receive outsourced requirements from the aerospace primes. It’s based on ISO 9001 but adds requirements specific to the aerospace distribution industry.

“The AS9120 certification allows us to better support aerospace distributors, an important subcontractor segment of the industry,” says Jeff Carr, NQA aerospace business unit director. “Being one of the first to provide AS9120 registration demonstrates NQA’s continued commitment and leadership to the entire aerospace community.”
