Lightweight, compact, and with the smallest skidless probe system available on the market, the MarSurf M 510 Series is ideal for precise surface measurement throughout a wide range of applications. The series offers convenient mobile testing of P, R, and W parameters with just one instrument, and users can create up to 1,000 measuring programs. MarSurf M 510 instruments cover a broad spectrum of applications in mechanical engineering, automotive, medical, and aerospace industries.

The MarSurf M 510-15, M 510-50, and M 510-75 models offer a measuring range of 1 mm with three available traverse lengths of 15 mm, 50 mm, and 75 mm, respectively. These instruments are ideal for reliably determining the roughness and waviness of technical surfaces on a variety of workpieces, including shafts, camshafts, vent sealing lips, cylinder bores, and metal sheets.

The devices come fully configured, enabling users to quickly install and operate them. Key features of the MarSurf M 510 Series include:

Powerful skidless probe system: Effortlessly reach any measurement point on the workpiece.

Compact: The M 510-15 can fit into very small areas, with overall dimensions of 1.1 in. wide x 2 in. long x 1.6 in. high, and is the smallest skidless unit on the market.

Vibration resistance: Suitable for production environments and machining centers.

Motored lifting and lowering of stylus tip: Ensures reliable and flexible surface measurement by affixing to ferro-metallic surfaces with the optional magnetic fixture.

Industry-standard measurements: The MarSurf M 510 series is used to determine roughness parameters and apply filters in accordance with industry standards.

Intuitive software interface: Quickly read and analyze measured values, with seamless integration to Windows environments.

Flexible USB connectivity: Connect to either a PC or a laptop with ease.

Extensive range of accessories: Enabling even more versatility.

“Our new MarSurf M 510 Series represents a significant advancement in mobile surface measurement technology,” says Nick Russo, product manager at Mahr. “With their unmatched versatility, light weight, compact design, and user-friendly features, these instruments are engineered to provide accurate, reliable measurements across an array of applications.”
