These updates further expand the SpatialLabs ecosystem, enabling professionals in creative, industrial, and medical fields to harness immersive, glasses-free 3D technology to enhance workflows and outcomes.

NVIDIA Omniverse libraries

Through integration with NVIDIA Omniverse libraries via Acer’s OpenXR runtime, SpatialLabs Pro enables designers and engineers to work in 2D while simultaneously visualizing projects and content in stereoscopic 3D. This dual-view capability enhances spatial awareness and depth perception, supporting more informed decision-making. The streamlined workflow benefits professionals in robotics, digital twins, architectural visualization, and advanced product design industries, helping reduce errors and accelerate development cycles.

Vision Engineering’s ProteQ Viso stereo microscope

Vision Engineering, a world leader in ergonomic microscopy renowned for its eyepiece-less optical technology, digital 3D visualization, and metrology solutions, has developed its ProteQ Viso desktop digital stereo microscope and integrated it with Acer SpatialLabs Pro technology.

ProteQ Viso produces sharp, high-contrast 3D images that enhance depth perception. Integration with SpatialLabs Pro elevates the experience by presenting the ProteQ Viso’s output on a high-performance display with 2K × 2K 3D resolution per eye, Delta E < 2 color accuracy, and 100% Adobe RGB color gamut. This ensures exceptional clarity, color fidelity, and a stereoscopic sense of realism, supporting more informed decision-making.

With a 10:1 optical zoom ratio and a total magnification range of 6x–240x, ergonomic design, and expanded working space, the ProteQ Viso is ideal for any intricate tasks such as electronics, prototyping, and medical device development—boosting productivity through superior ergonomics and immersive 3D stereo viewing.

Smart Surgery’s training platform powered by Acer SpatialLabs

Beyond creative applications, Acer’s SpatialLabs technology is also being used for medical purposes. Smart Surgery, a leader in AI-driven minimally invasive surgery, integrates SpatialLabs’ glasses-free 3D displays to introduce a more immersive and intuitive approach to surgical training and real-time video analysis.

Medical professionals can view high-resolution surgical footage with enhanced depth and spatial clarity, and without the need for headsets or specialized eyewear. This innovation supports more accurate interpretation of anatomical structures and procedural techniques, helping reduce learning curves and improve outcomes.

The collaboration highlights SpatialLabs’ potential beyond traditional creative industries, bringing its advanced visualization capabilities into critical healthcare applications.
