(BLM GROUP USA: Novi, MI) -- BLM GROUP USA has announced the addition of a new tube bender to its E-TURN line of machines, capable of right- and left-hand, in-process bending: the E-TURN63, a machine with the capacity to bend tubes up to 2.5 in. (63 mm) in diameter. This all-electric tube bender is designed to be versatile, efficient, and easy to use, even when bending thick-walled tubes of high-strength materials.

“The E-TURN63 is a robust machine that builds on the proven innovation and performance of our other E-TURN benders,” says Robert Bowden, product manager for benders at BLM GROUP. “We’re excited to provide our customers with larger-diameter tube-bending needs with a solution that can improve the efficiency and quality of their operations.”
Optimal strength, versatility, ease of use
Due to its increased bending torque and a frame structure designed to optimize mechanical strength, the E-TURN63 makes complex bends without the addition of intermediate welds. This makes the machine ideal for tube bending in automotive, furniture, and shipbuilding industries. It’s useful for bending tubes for stabilizer bars, exhaust pipes, frames, and structural elements, as well as parts for heat exchangers, among other applications.
Building on its offering of customizable tube-bending solutions, BLM GROUP has made the E-TURN63 available without a mandrel carriage—a configuration that provides high-bending capacity for thick rods and bars.
The E-TURN63 features a 22 in. touchscreen, simplifying programming for operators and further ensuring tube-bending quality.
Supported by high-performance software
The E-TURN63 features VGPNext, a user-friendly CAD/CAM programming and 3D simulation software that enables contractors and OEMs to optimize production by easily locating parts, simulating bends, and correcting defects to achieve the best design. VGPNext is simple to use and provides consistent results, even for less experienced operators.
