U.S. Sensor Manufacturer Keeps Prices Stable Despite New Tariffs

NewTek’s domestic shipments help avoid logistical challenges and fees

(NewTek: Pennsauken, NJ) -- NewTek Sensor Solutions, a U.S.-based manufacturer of LVDT position sensors, can help its customers mitigate most of the volatility and cost increases associated with U.S. and global tariffs by continuing to source components domestically and conducting manufacturing in-house. This strategy helps NewTek avoid severe price hikes, keeping prices stable and competitive for clients, particularly those in industries with long-term contracts sensitive to price increases.

Increased tariffs will significantly raise costs for some international sensor manufacturers. These companies may pass on these costs by applying surcharges to invoices without prior notice to end users, who might not even realize the country of origin when purchasing a part. However, this is not a concern for U.S. customers buying from domestic sources such as NewTek.
