(EFCOG, LLNL: Livermore, CA) -- The Energy Facility Contractors Group (EFCOG), representing more than 135 member companies, was created to address common challenges and improve operations across the U.S. Department of Energy complex. EFCOG will host its Quality Assurance, Integrated Safety Management, and Contractor Assurance System (QA/ISM/CAS) Communities of Practice meeting at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) March 31–April 3.

Charles Slama, strategic deterrence associate deputy director for operations, says, “This event will bring together professionals from across the U.S. Department of Energy and National Nuclear Security Administration complex to promote best practices, lessons learned and innovative approaches to safety management and operational excellence. It’s also an invaluable chance to network with peers and strengthen partnerships.”
