(TÜV SÜD America: Plymouth, MI) -- TÜV SÜD Americas, a business-to-business engineering services firm providing international safety testing and certification services, has expanded its automotive electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) laboratory in Plymouth, Michigan, by opening an additional 3-m (9 ft 10 in.) chamber for immunity and emission testing, along with expanding its conducted immunity capacity and capabilities.

The electronic technology incorporated into automobiles is becoming increasingly complex and greater in volume. The new facility doubles TÜV SÜD’s capacity to meet supplier timing and testing needs, from engineering development to design validation to product validation.
