(Toshiba Imaging: Irvine, CA) -- Toshiba Imaging, a leader in high-definition color video imaging, is working with ISee3D Inc. on an advanced 3-D microscope digital video system using a single Toshiba IK-HD1, three-chip CCD high-definition camera. ISee3D is a Canadian company that develops proprietary solutions that increase the performance of new and existing 3-D imaging systems. ISee3D’s new single-lens technology produces carefully aligned, perfectly matched images that can be displayed on a high-definition monitor, eliminating eye fatigue and ocular discomfort that is currently associated with prolonged 3-D microscopy image viewing using dual cameras.
