(TÜV SÜD: Peabody, MA) -- TÜV SÜD America Inc. announces that it will participate at the Food Safety Summit on April 17–19, 2012, at the Washington D.C. Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The company will exhibit at the event in booth No. 402.

During the conference on Wed., April 18, at 3:30–4 p.m. EDT, John Petie, the food safety program manager at TÜV SÜD America, will present “Verification and Validation (V&V).” The 30-minute workshop presentation will cover the difference between verification and validation activities, along with providing specific examples on how to use V&V techniques within the context of Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) programs.
