One of the most important factors has been the flexibility of the software, which allows it to be used on a wide variety of inspection equipment. Although PowerINSPECT is best known as the leading system for portable inspection arms, it can also be used with manual and CNC coordinate measuring machines, many optical metrology devices, and machine tools fitted with inspection probes.

This versatility means that PowerINSPECT can be used on all of a company’s different measuring devices, allowing inspection sequences to be transferred between different inspection pieces of equipment, and the results from the various sources to be compared quickly and easily. It also minimizes training costs and makes it easier to transfer staff between different measurement techniques.
