(Hamamatsu: Hamamatsu City, Japan) -- The C10800 series of dual-energy X-ray cameras from Hamamatsu feature high resolution and a wide dynamic range. These line-scan cameras can be used for a variety of nondestructive testing applications where single-energy imaging fails to distinguish between materials. Equipped with two detectors calibrated for different X-ray powers, the cameras generate two images in a single scan. An embedded image-processing algorithm produces the resultant image, which clearly shows the difference between materials, as well as the materials that have similar properties.
