(SAE International: Warrendale, PA) -- The SAE 2011 World Congress—the essential automotive technology event for engineers in the automotive industry—is set for April 12–14, and SAE International has extended the preregistration deadline to April 1, 2011.

“Charging Forward Together,” the SAE 2011 World Congress theme, elicits not only enthusiasm but also a willingness as a community to expand the automotive industry’s knowledge as a team. Charging Forward Together highlights the importance of continuing the evolution of automotive propulsion technology and energy efficiency, as well as representing the continued recovery and progress in the automotive industry.

World Congress is a strong commitment to the individual engineer as well as the industry. There is no other place for those in the automotive community to gather and expand their knowledge and training, to walk away from every activity knowing more talented people and significant information than when they arrived.
