(Alliance Scale Inc.: Canton, MA) -- A line of Class F cast-iron grip handle weights, which are NIST-traceable for the calibration and field testing of a wide range of scales, has been introduced by Alliance Scale Inc.

Alliance grip handle weights are Class F cast-iron painted, density 7.2 for scale calibration, and finished with a special etching process, then coated with a chip-resistant paint that conforms to NIST Handbook 105-1 standards. Designed for testing commercial scales, they come in 10 to 100 lb sizes, available in inch, metric, and troy ounces, and provide NIST traceability.

Suitable for field testing and calibration by equipment installers, service technicians, and state and local officials, Alliance grip handle weights are suitable for legal-for-trade applications. They are ideal for checking scales for proper setup, and spot checking scales before a work shift begins to identify problems prior to scheduling maintenance.

Alliance grip handle weights are priced from $85 each and are available at www.alliancescale.com.
