Body

(Qualitest: Plantation, FL ) -- Qualitest introduces a range of automatic quality inspection machines for the rubber, plastic, and elastomer industries. The Lite D series automatic inspection system can check gaskets made of rubber, PTFE, and metal, but the same machine is capable of inspecting any element whose geometric features facilitate its movement. Critical defects such as broken parts, different parts, dross, missing material, and deformities are detected and will help to segregate the batch. Various mathematical algorithms are applied in sequence, making it possible to simultaneously release statistics showing the type of defects and rejections in a simple, orderly fashion.

The Lite D series is composed of two tables that enable pieces to be checked on both sides for flatness, rigidity, concentricity, ovalization, visibility, and dimensions. It includes a camera that acts as an eye as well as an image processor. The processor is always connected with software. An interface is provided between the image and the set of parameter and control tolerances.
