(CEESI: Boulder, CO) -- Ultrasonic meter users will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge at the 2011 Ultrasonic Meter Measurement Training Series, scheduled for Feb. 15–25 at the Rasa Sentosa Resort in Singapore. The annual event will include a workshop and two training courses.

2011 Ultrasonic Meter User’s Workshop (Feb. 23–25)

This workshop includes half-day sessions of formal lectures and a final half-day session of open discussions on student topics of choice. Several meters from different vendors will be available to highlight topics covered during the lectures. Students can also familiarize themselves with each meter’s user-interface software.

Topics include:

• Basic meter operation
• Installation requirements
• AGA and API standards
• Flow profile, swirl, and turbulence
• Diagnostics
• Calibration and proving
• Fluid properties
• Meter user-interface software
