Several features make this model practical for medical labs, scientific research, electronics design and manufacturing, and machine vision purposes:

• Light intensity exceeds 70,000 lux and can be controlled continuously, without step controls

• Four zone control buttons regulate illumination by quadrants

• A high-resolution dimmer assures uniformity and stability at any setting

Moreover, the six-dozen white LEDs don’t flicker or emit heat, in contrast to fluorescent and halogen ring lights.

“This advanced accessory is suited for precision manufacturing, measurement, and optical inspection,” says Mike Shahpurwala, president of Aven, a global supplier of optical instruments. “Flexible illumination is controlled with fingertip ease on the back panel.”
