(TÜV SÜD America: Plymouth, MI) -- TÜV SÜD America Inc. is offering added investment and increased engineering expertise through certification of playground equipment and surfacing for the International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA), bunk beds, safety eyewear, sports equipment, and juvenile products. Manufacturers of these products may now obtain certifications of compliance to the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) and IPEMA certifications.

Globally, the TÜV SÜD Group, with more than 600 locations and 15,000 employees, is able to test, inspect, and certify children’s products to regulatory requirements wherever these products are produced worldwide. Since the passing of the CPSIA in 2008, TÜV SÜD has been helping manufacturers issue general certificates of compliance (GCC) at its facilities in Bangalore, Karnataka, India; Shanghai; Munich; Hong Kong; and now in Plymouth, Michigan.
