(APICS: Chicago) -- The 2010 APICS International Conference & Expo, “Excellence in the New Normal,” sponsored by APICS (The Association for Operations Management), is the highest quality educational experience for professionals in supply chain and operations management. Due to the spring flooding and damage around Nashville, Tennessee, the conference will now be held Oct. 18–20 at its new location, the Wynn Las Vegas resort in Las Vegas.

General session speaker: Lt. Gen. Honoré

Speaking on Oct. 18 at the conference’s opening general session is Lt. Gen. Russel L. Honoré, who was widely hailed by the media as the “Category 5 general” as he led Task Force Katrina during the aftermath of the devastating hurricanes that struck the Gulf Coast in late August 2005.
