Quality Training Portal Online Training Now Available in 10 Languages

Focus on quality improvement, problem solving, statistical tools, FMEA, and Lean/Lean Six Sigma

(Quality Training Portal: Waitsfield, VT) -- Quality Training Portal has announced that by the end of 2022 its entire online training catalog will be available in nine languages in addition to English. The firm’s 20 most popular courses, including AIAG-VDA FMEAs, Basic SPC, APQP, PPAP, and 8D Problem-Solving were released in July and August in the alternative languages. The remaining 40 courses will be rolled out over the next four months.

“To meet the demands of the global workplace, it became imperative that we offer our training in the native languages of our customers’ learners. Translation tools have become more effective and have enabled us to quickly get our courses released in the languages our users need, including Spanish, French, German, and Simplified Chinese,” says Robin McDermott, director of training.

McDermott points out that “by using machine translation, we are able to keep our costs down and keep our training affordable. But what we are most happy about is the feedback we got from a team of over 50 beta testers.”

Prior to releasing the translations to its full audience, Quality Training Portal had learners in key customer companies review the courses in their preferred language. Beta testers gave the translated courses high marks. Their feedback included suggestions for improvements that have now been implemented.

Online training is an excellent option for manufacturers that need to establish standardized improvement tools and techniques throughout the enterprise. When the training is asynchronous—not dependent on a live trainer—it eliminates scheduling hassles and is much more cost-effective. Now, with Quality Training Portal courses available in multiple languages, organizations have a comprehensive global training solution to meet their quality and productivity improvement requirements.

Quality Training Portal has a comprehensive portfolio of online training for manufacturing operations focused on quality improvement, problem-solving, statistical tools, FMEA, and Lean/Lean Six Sigma. To learn more about the courses and the translation approach, visit QualityTrainingPortal.com.
