Body

As ISO 9001 continues to be the most widely used ISO standard, the need to maintain the standard’s relevance to the marketplace remains a focus of the group responsible for revising the ISO 9000 family of standards. To ensure the continued relevance of ISO 9001 in the marketplace, ISO Technical Committee 176 Subcommittee 2 (ISO TC 176/SC2) has launched a survey to obtain feedback. The online survey is seeking feedback on ISO 9001 and the quality management principles. In addition, the survey is structured to obtain feedback from both users and nonusers.

Following are four reasons why you should complete the ISO 9000 Survey.

1. Surveys are like voting. If you don’t take the survey, you shouldn’t complain.
2. The technical experts don’t know what they don’t know. If you do not provide your input to them, they will not have fact-based data to make informed decisions for the future and will be forced to rely more on anecdotal data.
3. Every industry and size of enterprise needs to be represented. Input is needed from a wide range of users and nonusers to provide a balanced view of customer needs.
4. This is your chance to have your voice heard.
